How to get power in shed?

How is the best, easiest and cheapest way to get power to a shed? Any links to outdoor extension cables?

An extension cord is the cheapest. Otherwise you need an electrician to run a line from your main power panel to the shed or have the electric company put in a sepaerate meter on the shed which would mean another bill. Both of the later are expensive.

Answer 2

Get a bright colored 20 amp cord,  and "run" it overhead.

Use a 30 amp cord if it's more than 100 feet.
