How to get profile picture for you tube?

when your uploading a picture for you tube and you select browse do you have to save a picture then upload it, how do you do this

This will help you...

1)Go to Youtube click "Account" at the very top of the web page.

2)Then click on "Profile picture" on the right top of the screen.

3) Then underneath your current picture click "Choose an image" and then click "Browse" and choose a picture you want in your profile to be, then click "Update channel" on the bottom of the page.

You might have to wait for few hours for it to fully take effect but sometimes it happens faster.

--for best editing....

use windows movie maker (included in your windows machine)... it can help you make beautiful slideshow or video clip(e.g. mixing your songs with pictures/video/lyric/etc).... then save it as video file such as wmv file format... finally upload.

or .. Just get those clips you want , save & convert them, and then mix/match with pix/sound/etc using windows movie maker to create new masterpieces....

this will help you.... Use 'zillatube'. This is the easiest (and also the fastest) way.

Zillatube produces mpg/mp3 formats from youtube that are compatible with windows movie maker(or media player), and more.

It is very easy to download and convert videos. Then edit those converted mp3/mpg videos with windows movie maker... save your file as wmv and then upload.

1.Click "My Account"

2.Under "Manage My Channel", click the "Personal Profile" link.

3.Click the "Upload an image" link under the "Profile Picture" section.

4.Click the "Browse" button and select an image.

5.Click the "Upload picture" button.

Note: You can upload a JPG, GIF, BMP, or PNG file. Do not upload pictures containing celebrities, nudity, artwork or copyrighted images. Images will be resized to 130px by 96px and can be viewed within 6 hours.

You can also choose to make your thumbnail profile icon a still frame from one of your videos. To choose this option, go to your "Personal Profile" page, click the "Choose from your video stills" link and select the video still you'd like to serve as your icon.
