How to get program to work?

I purchased a cd that has forms and contracts for a contractor business. I installed the cd and got the forms and contracts to come up on Windows Microsoft Word BUT it will not let me type in any information on them. does anyone know how I can get it to let me type on them so I can change the headings and put info into them. Any information will help. Thank you in advance.

You cannot change any existing content on the cd directly unless it is a thumb drive or a external hard disk connected to your pc.

If you need to do any changes, copy the file onto your pc and make changes from there. After that, you could burn it to a new cd or save it to a thumb drive or a external hard disk.

Make sure that the file is not write protected.

Maybe it is time for you to consider getting a cheap thumb drive if you need to make changes and transfer your file regularly. Think about it!
