  1. yup, the others really summarised it well. it depends on what position you play. but no matter where you are on the field, remember to work hard for the ball all the time.

make passes, do a lot of defensive work. coaches like these kind of players.

  2. tell coach you can play anywhere. arrive early and do stretches without being asked, answer any questions that the coach asks to the group.

  3. work hard n dun hog e ball, be gracious

  4. Rather than attempting to showboat and ballhog to impress the coaches, be a solid team player. I've been in the same situation, and any coach would prefer someone willing to make a sure assist rather than attempt a risky goal. Good conditioning throughout the year will help as well.

Get out there, keep your head looking for the open pass, and make the team.

  5. Well, I don't play soccer but this is what I would do if I did.........never suck up to ur coaches. Also if you dont make the team, start training around 2 months prior to the tryouts next year. Lastly, always be attentive and never get disdracted, always keep a eye on ur coach and look stern and ready to play.

  6. for any reason do not miss any practice, try to be more creative in your position and more flexible by playing in more than one position because coaches like the player who does more than one role and always do what your coaches tell you.good luck

  7. The first thing you do, always listen to your coach, no matter how absurd he or she may sound. Then try to fit into the type of game the team plays, that will make your co-players believe in you. Don't forget to look for a position where you feel more capable, and a second position you know you can perform, pass the ball when you know it's necessary, or when the coach or captain tells you to do so, or in case of doubt.

Don't forget to practice shots by yourself at least twice a week, and try not to get injured.

And never give up, practice it's what it makes a player great, at any activity. Keep watching sports and try new moves, but remember, even that you have to perform your best, you still have to be part of the team, so good luck!
