How to get real ip in my ip config not the default i dont want to know in websites just in cmd (ip config)?

after creating a counter strike server its showing the ip as

192.168.1.2:27015

i dont want that to happen it should detect my own ip not the default one

please help me with this this is why i want my ip[ setting to be dynamic

  1. Thats the ip of your computer on the local network. ie. before you get to the internet...

    if you want to know your internet ip check out www.ripe.net - up in the top right it will say it...


  2. I assume that you want to know your Public IP?

    http://whatsmyip.org/

    this will give you the Public IP that you are coming from.

    the 192.168.x.x is your inside NAT.  Unless you have access to the router and can set up a static NAT or forward the required ports to your inside IP...then I think you have bigger problems then just not knowing your IP.

  3. What you are seeing is an internal IP addres. What you need to do is forward ports from your router to your ip address. (Also, you might need to setup a dynDNS account if your external ip address is dynamic). Follow the guides in the source list.
