How to get reed of fruit fly's?

I went to the store and got a lot of fruit for my daughter and had to of brought them home from the store because I did not have them before.

Take a glass, pour red wine in the bottom, just a small amount cover the glass with saran wrap and take a small pointly object and poke some holes in the saran wrap.

Make sure the holes are not too big so they can get in and not out.

put out a glass of apple juice about 1/4 full with a drop of dish soap.  It works as a trap and catches the flies pretty good.  The dish soap breaks the surface tension and the bugs fall right in.  Best if u place the trap close to the problem.  Also they breed in sink drains so a drop of dish soap works good there too.  I think they reproduce every 2 weeks so if u did this for 2 weeks you should be clear of it.  Any fruity juice will work, I used the cheap fruit drink stuff.  I bet wine would work best.  With apple juice you can see in it to know how many your getting.

Remove any over-ripe fruit and any other food source they could be feeding on.

Make sure you empty the garbage regularly, and was any garbage residue from the can, and the cupboard or area the can is kept.

You can make a fly trap by putting some wine/brandy/scotch or sugary fruit juice in a cup, covering the top of the cup with seran wrap, and poking a hole in the middle.

The flies will go in the whole to get the liquid inside, but very rarely find their way back out. They usually drown in the liquid.

You will probably not be able to trap all of the flies, but the trap will cut down on the number of flies.

You will probably have to wait out their life cyle before you are fly-free again, but lucky for you, as long as you make sure they have no place to feed and breed, this should only be a couple of days.

I've tryed all of those and I found just swatting them likes flys work.

Go to the store and get hanging fly strips...they mite not look that good but really work well!!!
