How to get rid if the past accessed text in the search engine that are seen as a drop down list below textbar?

  1. Go up to Tools (next to view, edit, file), internet options and either settings or delete files, you want to delete browser history so select that... that should do it for you!


  2. If you're on Internet Explorer, go to tools, Internet options (way on bottom), General, then down at the bottom it should say "history" and "days to keep history ___ days ... Fill that into 0, and also to the right of that hit "clear history and you're all set!

    Firefox- Tools, options, privacy, then one of the squares you could check/not check says "remember visited pages for __ days" and you could put 0 or just un-check the box!

    Oh, and this will not only take care of the stuff you want deleted NOW, but it should not save any websites you've looked at once you close you internet explorer/firefox after a visit :)
