How to get rid of Antivirus XP 2008???

Well my bro was using the computer and after that there was this antivirus thing and it slowed down my whole cpu. I don't know how to get rid of it i need help. And now i can't use the internet for that cpu How do i get rid of it plzz HELP!!?? P.S (i'm using another computer by the way).

Download and run (Smitfraudfix) boot in safe mode and run from there

I had to clean off a computer that had similar and used it cleaned it up nice Runs in dos mode and takes 5 to 10 minutes to run lists actions when finished

Download MalwareBytes AntiMalware & scan your pc to remove it. The Download & instructions link is below. Try running your pc in safemode & then scan. You could also download these programs onto a cd then put it in the messed up pc if you dont have internet.

-Antivirus XP 2008 is a rogue antivirus program, that displays false information stating that you are infected, when your not infected. It also displays fake alerts on your computer which is just another tactic to scare you into purchasing the program.

A free method would be booting into safe mode and then running smitfraudfix which is a free program that does the job for me. http://www.spyware-techie.com/antivirusx... followed the steps listed here.

ok... if this is a program, try to uninstall it using ADD/REMOVE PROGRAM but if its not working all you need to do is download & install PERFECT UNINSTALLER V5.8. Here's the serial if u need it AZ4I5-BFBDF-EKE4E-Q7F1C

But just in case this is a virus/spyware/malware/adware etc... Try to use avast 4.8 home edition, its for free @ www.avast.com

And you can use also spybot search&destroy, they are the best unlike some other antivirus that will **** only your PC.
