Ok so I'm 15 and I have loads of tiny tiny little spots all across my forehead and then blackheads on my nose and then I always get 1 or 2 BIG spots!

What can I do to get rid of these! I have super sensitive skin!

I started using face scrub everyday but my skin got really dry and I got more spots so i switched and then used a different scrub and that gave me really greasy skin! :/

I also wear foundation every day but its for sensitive skin and its breathable :)!

Thanks

  1. darling, it's all in the diet, trust me on this one!

You can't be eating enough of the right things, which is reflecting it in your skin. Good diet= good skin.....it's just the way it works.

My advice is to drink green tea, eat less junk, and stock up on foods containing vitamin E, eat lots of good fats e.g nuts, olives, and ditch the foundation! You're 15....you really don't need it honey! You have young skin so make the most of it while you've got it. Just moisturize it, that's all.....oh and drink water!!!!!!!!

If you already have a fab diet, i'm sorry...it's my mistake, but it isn't uncommon for most girls your age to have spots anyway....it's part of the maturity process i'm afraid hun xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

  2. I had your problem for years untill I learned some goood tricks! Drink lots of water - great for the skin!

Firstly, never use facial scrub every day, it really aggrivates the skin. Use it once a week only and scrub for 15 seconds. use a simple moisturiser afterwards. Oil free and very basic. And don't squeeze!!

If you get a spot, buy some savlon antibactirial cream and rub it on your affected area with just-washed hands. Leave it on before you go to bed and wash off before you sleep so theres no oil left on your skin.

Secondly STOP using foundation! it took me years to work that out and I'm now spot free after I stopped using it! All this sensative skin breathable stuff is nonsense! Skin doesn't have lungs, it doesnt breathe, its one big marketing scam! Sensative skin should be given minimal make up to make it look its best...

Its going to be hard at first because you'll feel really exposed, but use a tiny bit of concealer (invest in a good one, I use Touche eclait, £22, but its lasted me 6 months, ask at the counter to give you a demonstration)

To cover up a spot, put on a little tiny bit of concealer - don't rub it, dab it lightly so you don't rub the colour off the spot. Dab it into the corners of your nose so your skin looks nice and even. Try just to take the redness out of the spot, not make it look like a spot thats been covered up!

When you've done that, just use mascara so your eyes look nice and pretty, people don't notice your skin when your eyes look great. Use a touch of lip gloss and you will look beautiful!

Your skin won't have anything much to get annoyed about if its not constantly covered in an unnatural substance.

Lastly, Nutragena oil free face wash in the morning deep cleans and helped my skin no end!

The last, last thing is (!), don't spend too long in bed. Spots love pillows and enjoy being warm and cosy too!

    Hope that helps!

PS The pill could make it worse and could make you fat! I would avoid it unless the spots come once a month, if you catch my drift!

  3. you must cleanse tone and moisturise everyday

cleansing gets rid of surface grime and make up

toning closes the pores so dirt cant get in and cause infections (spots)

    and moisturising softens the skin

also exfoliate once a week, exfoliating is hard on the skin as it removes dead skin cells

so this for possibly 1 week or 2, and you will see huge changes in your complexion

make sure the products you buy are for sensative skin only

the pill can stop some spots, but only if you get spots when your period is due, as its your hormones that cause the spots, these spots only occur on your chin area

the pill does not make you fat at all

  4. Your only supposed to use the scrubbing face wash every other day. It takes the dead skin off so new skin can grow. It hurts your because you rubbing off new skin that doesn't need to come off. Use it every other day and then the other days use a moisturized face wash and good lotion.

  5. exfoliate daily with a gentle aloe vera scrub, cleanse and try to avoid touching your face too much and wearing foundation everyday can cause spots, breathable or not, why don't you wear it only when you have loads of spots and just try a witch hazel concealer for inbetween days.

this one is the downfall; eat less chocolate/sugar/fat, fast food, crisps and bad foods give you spots.

the pill doesn't make you fat or stop spots, i've been on it for years.

  6. Order some ProActiv.... it really does work!

  7. Pills is a good way. I used to have them, they are very good but if you stop taking them or forget once, you get spots straight away.

I use something called SUDOCREM. You can find it on baby stuff, and it's universal against acne, cuts, burns and all that stuff. It makes an amazing make-up base and it works after 2 or 3 days. doesn't block pores, and moisturases skin :3

  8. go to your nearest chemist nd ask for witch hazel spot relief balm

use as often as possible they should clean up in no time xox

  9. Different things work for different people, you have to try everything and see what works for you, but most definetly make sure your pores are always clean, if you clean your pores for a long period of time and you still get spots and youve tryed everything else you'll have to go to the doctors, they'll most deffinetly be able to give you stuff that does work.

  10. i have a face scrub cant remweber the brand though however even though people say it doesnt work i use toothpaste on big ones and it drys them out
