Question:

How to get rid of a discolored spot on a piano?

We are getting an antique piano. It has a lovely mahogany finish, but on top there is a medium-sized circle that is many shades lighter than the rest of the wood. It's disgusting how much this spot sticks out. This is a beautiful piano otherwise and I hate to look at that discolored spot. Is there any way to fix it?

  1. get it re stained to the original color of wood

  2. paint that part

  3. put a canvas wrap over it

  4. Well I guess there are two things that you could do: re-stain it or you could get like a flower vase or something like that to put over it so it doesn't show.
