    3.Strengthening your abdominal muscles, but it won’t get rid of belly fat like magic. But it is still exercise and will tone/build the muscle which pulls the fat in a bit.

  5. It depends on whether you have a flabby (weak muscle tone) belly, or a fatty one (thick 'adipose' layer).

    Soft muscles feel exactly like fat, so it can be hard to tell the difference.

    Doing exercises and activities that use a lot of waist movement, such as salsa dancing, walking like a pimp, or capoeira, will tighten the belly muscles that 'pinch' your waist in and reduce the size of your belly. Over a long period of time, these activities will cause fat to be removed from storage sites around your waist and belly.

    AVOID situps and crunches. They 'focus' most of the effort on a small superficial layer (R. A. muscle) at the front of your torso. Building up this muscle can make your belly protrude more, and can cause long-term damage to your back.
