I set some fast food tacos on the counter and when I picked them up like 5 minutes later, the ink from the wrapper had stained the counter! How can I get it off? I tried Lysol but it didn't work...

  2. What material is your countertop made from? If it's ceramic tile, I don't see a problem with using alcohol... and more specifically, plain old hair spray works wonders with ink so that it can be blotted up with a paper towel.

  3. Rubbing alcohol takes off ink stains.

  4. If you would like to maintain your countertop don't use WD-40 or rubbing alcohol.  Use Soft Scrub with bleach.  Or you can use gasoline and nitrous oxide.

  5. use WD-40 it will remove ink,

  6. Lysol isn't a cleaner - it's a disinfectant.  It really depends on what the surface of your counter is.  Something like rubbing alcohol could leave a mark on granite.

If it's a ceramic-type counter and if you don't have any rubbing alcohol handy, cologne works - it's got alcohol in it.  After shave probably has alcohol in it as well.
