How to get rid of antivirus 2009??

i have been inflicted with antivirus 2009 i bought spysweeper but i cant get use the antivirus because the antiviurs 2009 doesnt allow me to go on on internet pop ups keep comming up what do i do?

Firstly, antivirus programs will NOT remove these as they are malicious codecs, they may find reference to them which it removes but it comes back.

The following free tools are known to work and have done in hundreds of instances:

Malwarebytes Anti-Malware Removes Antivirus:

Download, install, update and select Full Scan.

Remove all infections that it finds after scan.

Spybot S&D:

Download, install, update and Immunize, then click 'Check for problems' then when complete select all and then 'Fix Checked'

Spyware Doctor Free Basic Edition - Realtime monitoring:

Its free with Google pack, untick all boxes except Spyware Doctor. Download install, update and run.

Wallpaper Hijacker Removal Tool:

Note: You should hit all "Repair" buttons even though it may not say "Found!" This will fix a wallpaper hijack everytime if all repair buttons are pressed.

Download, install, check for updates, then select Scan your Computer, select your drive and select Perform Complete Scan

VundoFix:

Disconnect your computer from the internet

Run vundo

Restart your computer

Run the tool again to ensure no traces are left.

If there are the reboot into Safe Mode and run FixVundo again.

I have no idea what antivirus 2009 is.  Perhaps you should got Norton Antivirus or have a computer specialist take a look at your system.

Antivirus XP is an extremely dangerous program that will try to get you to purchase it in order to continue to infect your PC.  It's a difficult program to remove but if you follow these steps you shouldn't have a problem:
