  1. no matter what you do they will come and keep on coming, the best thing to do is call a place like "KIRBY" you must have one in your area some where, they usually call around to people and tryo to get in there home to do a demo but you can call and tell them you are interested in somone coming over to show you the equipment.  Not only is it the best stuff money can buy but there is an attachment, that goes on it that they use to vacuum your bed and it takes the bugs away, this iwill only last so long, but if you were interested in buying the thing you have something that will take them away for good, very expensive though, i used to work for them, i have one and i love it i use it on my bed every week, i hate bed bugs. aside from that there is nothing you can really do to keep them away for good, unless you buy the device to weekly vacuum your bed to keep them away.  look online there may be other things made to do just thought and not just on the kirby vacuum cleaner..

  2. Vacuum off surface use lysol disinfecting spray! on surface? maybe every three days!

  3. Yikes.   I'd fumigate the entire house.

  4. 1Check your bed linens in the middle of the night, when bed bugs are most active easiest to locate.

Step2See movement? Bed bugs usually travel as groups of two or three in a row.

Step3Look at the insects' bodies. Immature bed bugs are a light yellow color; adults are a reddish brown. In both cases, the middle part of their bodies will be darker after they have recently fed (they turn darker because they feed on blood).

Step4Not sure based on the color of the insect? Look at their size: bed bugs are smaller than 1/4 of an inch long.

Step5Still not entirely certain? Determine whether the bug has wings or not (bed bugs do not); look at its shape (bed bugs are oval and flat in shape).

    Vacuum

    Steam cleaner

    Trash bags

    Plastic bed covering

    Caulk

    How to Eliminate Bed Bugs

Step1Consult with a professional but know that not any exterminator will do. Sometimes labeled "integrated pest management," a specialist is strongly recommended to identify and properly eliminate bedbugs. Ensure that you are dealing with bedbugs as some insects look similar.

Step2Compare credentials, fees, contracts, and guarantees with at least one or two other pest control companies. The remaining tips may be used when professional extermination is financially impossible, at your own risk, or in deference with expert pest control recommendations.

Step3Eliminate all trash and clutter in the bedroom and the home to reduce the number of bedbug hiding places. Clean hard surfaces such as furniture, inside drawers, household goods, window casings, and bathrooms. As you clean notice any cracks in the walls or woodwork or other potential points of entry. Make repairs as needed.

Step4Sweep, vacuum and steam clean carpets and furniture thoroughly. Focus on the bedroom and areas where bedbugs are known to reside, but know that eggs or bugs may exist in other areas of the home. Work from the known infestation to highly trafficked areas, baseboards and on to other areas. Diligence here will help eliminate bedbugs more readily.

Step5Make use of the washer and dryer to eliminate bedbugs on clothing, bedding and curtains. Soak items in hot water, optimally at least 140 degrees Fahrenheit, for at least 15 minutes and avoid overcrowding washables.

Step6Wrap exposed items that are not washable in tear-resistant plastic. This includes the mattress and box spring, books, drawer and closet clutter. Leave the plastic on for two weeks and look for any signs of bedbug f***s, skins or active bugs. Clean or vacuum suspect items and repeat the process, or opt for disposal. Note that eventually the bedbugs will die when encased and are unable to reach a host to feed on.

Step7Weigh the pros and cons of keeping suspect furniture and household items—disposal may be the only way to eliminate bed bugs or is more economical with regards to time and risk of re-infestation. The mattress and box springs is a primary culprit. If kept, be diligent about checking for tears in plastic coverings.

Step8Consult with a professional exterminator and/or research the resources listed here for information on insecticides designed to eliminate bedbugs. Insecticides both pose health risk and are ineffective at eliminating bedbugs unless properly applied

  5. Removal of Bed bugs When people hear the word "bedbugs" they often associate it with filth and poor housekeeping, but increasingly bedbugs are found in nice hotels, dormitories and clean, even upscale, homes. This is largely due to changes in pesticide use, international travel and the bedbugs' ability to effectively hide unnoticed in everything from luggage to electronics. If you're a flea market or garage sale fan, your risk for bedbugs increases. Last, but not least, bedbugs can travel 200 feet to establish residence—making bedbug removal difficult in multi-family dwellings. These tips can help you eliminate bedbugs safely and effectively and minimize the risk of re-infestation.

Usually, your first indications are bites on your own body, or someone else in your family. At that point, an inspection of your bedding is first and foremost. The mattress, bedframes and night stands should be inspected closely, under a strong light. On your bedding, you're looking for the spots of blood and sometimes the insects themselves in the seams and folds of these items. Check under the bed, too. Bedbugs prefer wooden and cloth surfaces, so that's where you concentrate.

Small appliances, clocks, radios and phones on night stands, in any infested room, should be examined and set aside for treatment. Bedbugs like dark, secluded places, so they'll seek out dark closets, behind and under beds, behind and under doors and under carpeting. Tip over furniture and look underneath everything in an infested room.

Your laundry room, and anywhere else you store dirty laundry, should be checked carefully. Travelers should check their hotel/motel rooms for any signs of bedbug infestation. Pull out a night stand drawer and check underneath for hiding bugs. When you get home, all contents of your luggage should be washed (or dry cleaned) in hot, soapy water, and that includes your clean clothes.  Examine your luggage closely Avoiding an infestation

In general, bedbugs enter your home in luggage or on secondhand items such as bedding and furniture. Taking care with these items, in addition to high standards of hygiene and housekeeping, should help to minimise the chance of an infestation in your home.Controlling a bedbug infestation

High standards of hygiene and housekeeping alone are unlikely to control an infestation. However, keeping a house clean will reveal the presence of bedbugs at an early stage, making control easier and reducing the chance of widespread infestation.

Some general suggestions to eliminate bedbugs include:

Thoroughly wash, vacuum or clean all surfaces and bedding.

Wash bedding and affected clothing where possible, using hot water. Dry in a clothes drier on a hot setting.

Vacuum mattresses, seal in dark plastic and leave outside in the hot sun for as long as possible.

    Steam clean carpets.

Spray common hiding spots with a surface insecticide registered to control bedbugs. Follow the label directions carefully. Do not treat bedding with insecticide.

Your local council can offer information and advice on dealing with a bedbug infestation.

    Good Luck !
