How to get rid of black line when recording from tv to dvd?

Lately when I record a dvd from my tv there is this black line that keeps scrolling across the screen, its not thick and doesn't get in the way of viewing, but it is really annoying, it doesn't always happen, just lately it started. Any help?

Check all your connections & tighten them where possible. Sounds like you may be picking up interference from something ,causing the line to cross your screen. You may even try swapping some cables if need be.
