I'm currently scanning with Spyware Doctor, Spybot, and a bunch of others, but how do I get rid of this?

  1. You may have to use the software and then after the scan, you select to delete said file if it is detected. If that isn't possible, then use AVAST Antivirus.

  2. You are going to need to have Spyware Doctor scan for rootkit files as this file is part of a rootkit bundle. To get it to scan for rootkits:

Settings > Scan Settings > Scan for rootkit hidden files

Have Spyware Doctor do a full system scan and it should remove the file along with a couple other associated files that you cannot file. Might be a good idea to turn off system restore as well(right click My Computer > System Restore > Turn off)

  3. Hi Bubbles,

Check this link for removal info.http://virusinfo.prevx.com/pxparall.asp?...

Two good programs are Avast & Ad-aware, best thing is they are FREE!

A trick that I use for getting rid of this junk in Windows XP is to click "Start", click "Search" enter the questionable info, when it is found, "Right click" and delete the file. Go to "Recycle Bin" and empty it. Recheck in "Search" to make sure it is out of the system.

    Good luck,

    DW
