  1. get a cat or snake and release it

  2. You probably live in Florida..... me too...they don't hurt anything!  They eat the pests that are bothersome to plants and people :)

  3. Don't get rid of lizards! They eat all kinds of bugs & pests in your garden & they harm no-one.

  4. Lizards are harmless and help eat other unwanted bugs. There is a balance to everything and lizards are part of it.

  5. Lizards = Good

Bugs, Spiders, Crawly things = Bad

Lizards meet bugs = ALL GOOD

  6. Why get rid of them?

  7. About a week ago I watched a whiptail lizard chase a cricket around the back yard until it finally caught it and ate it.  It took the whiptail three attempts to swallow that cricket.  We've had such an infestation this summer with crickets and June beetles that I revelled in the thought of one less noisy cricket in my yard.

My whiptails are now welcome to stay in my yard.  A healthy yard has a healthy assortment of lizards, spiders and snakes.
