i get them when i run a lot. im a man, so how do i get rid of these

  1. lots and lots of stretching before and after running

    I have the same problem

    it means you aren't stretching out enough

    and use a heat pad when you get home


  2. Sometimes if your body is dehydrated it can cause cramps. Try drinking more water.

    Also just plain being out of shape can do it too.

  3. Make sure and stretch! This sounds simple but stretching before and after a run and abiding by a sufficient cool-down period help you to avoid having acid (which you create during exercise) build up in your muscles.

    You might also consider doing ellipticals one or two days a week  - less impact combined with a natural motion can help you to keep up with your regimen and put less stress on your body.
