How to get rid of dead mouse smell?

I think there is a dead mouse in my room, but we can not find it. there is a horrible smell, is there any way to get rid of the smell

You gotta find the dead rodent n dispose it.

Only then can u get rid of the smell.

Until u find the dead rodent...you could try opening the windows n letting air circulate,and keep a bowl of one part water mixed with one part of vinegar in the room to absorb as much odor as it can.

Sometimes they die in the walls and the odor will linger for a month or two - I know it's awful. Get some essential oil candles and burn them when necessary. I don't like artificial fragrances. Also, keep the windows open to allow air circulation.

if there really is a dead animal in there, let a dog or cat loose in the room and let it find it but stay nearby to prevent the animal from eating the dead creature, it could get sick.

its probably up in your boxspring or under a dresser. if not it might of died between the walls. as long as you cant find it , it is going to smell for awhile so start burning some incense and keep looking. if you have a dog let it help you find it or borrow someones dog. a dog will find it for sure.

go to the area of your rm where the smell is the strongest, you gotta find it first. If you have carpet in your room get some Arm & Hammer carpet deodorizer to put on floor, maybe some Febreeze spray for rm. if you have floors that can be mopped, use some Lysol floor cleaner (Lemon scent) is what I like best. I had one under bakers rack in Kitchen and it worked really good.  Happy hunting?
