How to get rid of field mouse?

ive got a field next to my back garden an my next door neighbor said she could hear things in her wall but i thought she was winding me up as i am scared to death but ive was just watching tv and it ran past the back of my telly help i need a quick and easy way as am scared to death

it may sound strange but if you have a friend with a snake ask them for the skin when the snake sheds...put the skin in corners...in closets...if you see holes where mice could be getting in put the skin in there.  the mice smell the snake and will run away...sounds odd but it works

get humane traps that way you do not need to see a  squished mouse witha bloody mess witth inhumane ones.. cuse you will have to clean it and poison, you will hav dead mice all over and dead animals stink AND ATTRACK BIGG annoyin vultures

put a h**l of alot of rat poison around

but be warned

they might die in the walls or something so you might need to go find the dead ones

I have the same problem. What do you prefer, horrible death- poisons, traps etc, or a rescue operation, traps that contain the animal until you can despose of it- let it go miles away from your home. You are either the bringer of death or the gift of salvation to the mouse. Your call...

I'm going thru the same thing. My husband was an extermenator for about 10 years, he says if they want to get in they will. A hole the size of a quarter they can fit thru.  A website I looked at the other day says, First you have to seal up entry ways for the rodents  from outside the house.  Leave no pet food ( mouse Fav meal), etc around put everything in tight containers. Then seal the house from the inside. pipe holes are sealed with a copper mesh stuff, there is a website that swears by electric devices, guarentees them . search google and read on.

Personally,  as I told the hubby, I'd rather make it difficult for them to enter the house, than to just coexist with them. Good luck, let us know if anything works!!

Borrow someones cat for a few hours.They are excellent hunters and should find the pest in no time.

Field mice are more afraid of you,than you are of them but,I dont blame you-dont want them around my place either.

Borrow someone's Dachshund, lol.

Get a trap that holds them. IF your neighbors have any type of animal or you have strays around don't use rat poison. It will kill them as well.
