How to get rid of fruit flies around my sugar gliders cage??

I have two sugar gliders and there is a ton of fruit flies around the cage. I clean out the food dishes everyday. Anyone have any suggestions.

The fruit flies are attracted the the wast and moist food in the reptiles cage.  The best this I have found is to take a jar and pour about a half inch. of vinegar in the jar, then add 3 or 4 drops of dish soap in the jar mix.  Place by the cage.  This will attract the fruit flies and they will die.  This will not harm the sugar gliders.  Hope this helps.
