How to get rid of greasy hair?

When I wash my hair I put the shampoo in the roots, and the conditioner on the tips. When it dries, it is sorta greasy at the roots, then when I brush it, it spreeds it to the tips, and it's gross. What do I do!?

  1. Get a hair straighting done

    it will work

i am not joking just give it a try.

  2. Use a clarifying shampoo, this would be a clear shampoo not a pearly/creamy looking one. Even watered down dish soap does better on greasy hair then a cream shampoo. Be sure you are using products meant for oil and not dandruff/dry hair/colored hair these have too much moisturizer in them. Dry doing amla treatments which are worth the extra effort

check out: hennaforhair.com and search for amla you make a paste and it deep cleans the scalp :)

  3. umm use a clarifying shampoo and skip conditioner every other day that you wash your hair that should help but ask your salon theyll help you

  4. Wash your whole head with shampoo, then wash your whole head with conditioner. Conditioner on your roots isn't gonna hurt them, plus your hair wont be as greasy then.

  5. Try shampooing with no conditioner.  Sometimes if I don't wash my hair for a few days the same thing happens to me. Try washing more often. Other option, ask a stylist.
