  1. Moles are insectivores, so they will be feeding on common variety bugs, worms, or insects that live below the grass line.  Moles are quite common here, so I typically buy a granular based insecticide and water it into my lawn.  If you kill the insects below the surface like chinchbugs and grubs, the mole will go elsewhere for food.  At the same time, you are making your lawn much healthier.

  2. ,be careful around pets and small children. There is a plant called mole bean plant it produces pods with large seeds, put a few of these in mole hole and they will die. They can be purchased at your local co-op,they are highly poisonous. You can buy pellets also.

  3. Moles usually linger in your yard because they feed on Grubs. You should first attack the grubs in your yard. . You can try mixing oil soap, castor oil and cayenne pepper together and then dilute it with warm water. Spray this mixture over and in (where possible) the mole's underground highways. Flood his tunnel system using this solution and a water hose. The soap will cause the castor oil and cayenne pepper to stick to the mole's skin which in turn will cause him to itch and burn. He will not want to hang around your property much longer.
