How to get rid of lizards in a house?

okay i am scared of these UGLY nasty looking things and i don't want to hear nothing about they eat bugs I'm am not scared of bug ...i hate these things wit a passion i would rather have a big rat in my house then them things...so how do i get rid of them quick HELP!!!

Saturday i was in my room one of these lil ugly things jumped on my leg and i was running and hurt my ankle and its still sore then yesterday night i seen the one wit color so wat to do...oh i seen another color one on the porch AHHHH these lil things is going to drive me crazy...i cant do wat my mama ask me cause I'm scared to go in these rooms

hey if you are an indian then i will answer you in indian style just put some chicken 's egg shell from where the come in your house .some scientist belive that egg shells frightentd the lizards away!!!

Just because you are scared of them doesn't mean you have to hate them!

I've been to Sri Lanka a few times and I've seen them climbing up and down the walls. I think the lizards you are talking about are geckos.

As for getting rid of them, you have to lure them. I'm quite sure they will come back again though, so you've got a big problem on your hands. An easier way would be to gradually get over your fear of them.

BTW - Do not try to scoop them up, as if they are threatened then they will drop their tails and jump off. The tails keep wriggling even after they have dropped off, and it can be pretty unnerving.
