  1. could give it to goodwill or salvation army. any bride who can't afford a dress always looks there first, and both of these places will sell it at a discount price. good luck!

  2. Ebay or trading post

  3. My grandmother kept hers and I am keeping mine!!!   You should too!!  Here is what can be done with it:

You can use pieces of it for Christening gowns

Use embellishments from it for wedding scrap booking

Maybe your daughter might want to wear it

Your daughter (maybe even son)  can use it to make a ring pillow/ garter belt or any other wedding related item for their own "something old"

But you MUST preserve it VERY well

We displayed my grandmothers at their 50th wedding anniversary

and for her upcoming 65th anniversary , she found a tailor to transform the dress into a nice dress suit.

Also , a local charity might have a "boutique" that helps women find dream gowns , who other wise could not afford such luxuries.

  4. Donate it to a charity, so that someone who otherwise couldn't afford a wedding gown can have one. There's even a place where you can donate your gown, and it will be sold at a low cost, providing an underpriviliged woman with an affordable gown and fighting against breast cancer at the same time. Or, contact your local church or religious organisation - they're likely to know of a needy woman who would make good use of the gown at some point or another.

  5. Hold on to it and either have it made into a christening dress for your first born or your first grand child.  Or you could take to a Consignment shop.

  6. Ebay or do a keyword search for Recycle Your Wedding, a site that resells all sorts of used wedding goods.  I think Ebay would get more hits though.

  7. You can try www.shellyleppertdesigns.com. They are an online formal consignment shop.

  8. www.preownedweddingdresses.com

  9. Take some really good pictures of it and sell it on Ebay.

  10. Take it to a consignment shop! they do all the work, but will take a percentage... Call them and get the details! I did it and it worked out great..

  11. Sell it on Ebay, thats whats im planning on doing with mine after the wedding
