How can I get rid of pimples on my face? Without any face-wash stuff because I'm allergic to something in most of them and I get a rash on my face most of the time. I go into the steam room and sauna most of the time at my fitness gym, what else can I do?

  1. Try this simple remedy. Wash your face twice a day in warm salty water. This should leave your face oil free without aggravating the pimples like soap. The secret of keeping the skin clear is to keep it oil-free and clean. More such solutions at http://solutionsforpimples.blogspot.com/

  2.   stop eating  chocolate

  3. Here we go:

1)Wash your face with warm water and a face cloth. No soap or facewash.

    2)Rinse with cold water.

3)Pat face with a clean dry towel,

4)Get a large bowl of boiling water,or a pot of boiling water on a stove, and add some tea tree oil to the water.

5)hang your head over the steam coming off the water for as long as needed.(depending on how bad you skin is).

    6)Repeat step one.

    7) Put tea tree oil directly on to pimples with clean fingers.

CAUTION: be really really careful hanging your head over the steam.

Do this everyday for as long as needed to get rid of pimples. And like every once a week after that. It works really well. Hope i helped/:-)

  4. Don't eat oily foods all the time, and don't eat chocolate all the time either.  Also, just wash your face every day with the same kind of soap. It doesn't have to be acne medicine/face wash. Just make sure it's the same brand every time, so your skin gets used to it. Also, you can buy these Biore brand strips that you put on your face for like 10 minutes that unclog your pores. This helps a lot. ...Also, this may sound really really really stupid, but if you dab a little toothpase on a pimple, and leave it there for a couple minutes, it may help.

  5. Ignore previous advice on using soaps on your face, especially with sensitive skin. Acne is not dirt. The body uses oils to protect the skin and keep it healthy, while soap strips oils away. When you use soap on sensitive areas like the face, you can cause oily skin problems, because the body then overproduces oils to compensate for what's been lost.

Try using water and a plain wet washcloth only to wash your face, especially in the evening. You don't really need to strip a layer of skin with exfoliating pads or loofahs, you just need to remove any excess oils, and whatever dust and sweat and such the day has laid on your skin. Give it two weeks, so your skin has time to adjust oil production.

If plain water doesn't work for you, you might look into the oil cleansing method instead, since it cleans and moisturizes without the harsh chemicals that cause the irritation you've experienced:

  6. an easy way to pop white heads without scarring is:

wet the tip of a wash cloth with hot water, like as hot as your sink will go, and press it on the pimple, do it repeatedly until the whitehead opens up.  It will make skin a little red so after its popped and all the c**p is out, press a cold wash cloth on the same spot.

  7. no offense to the people who posted answers above, but i wouldn't listen to the non sense about eating chocolate and using cold water to close your pores.

    1. i've tried nearly everything and been to the doctor and dermatologists for my acne in the past. my mom used to harp on me and tell me it was because my diet that my acne was bad. all 3 doctors that i went to said that is a myth. diet has very, very little to do with acne. though it is good to drink lots of water because in general, water purifies your system... food and eating chocolate has little effect on acne and the bacteria that grows in your pores.

    2. there is no such thing as being able to close your pores. using cold water only gives the illusion that your pores are smaller. it does not close them. read the allure beauty book: confessions of a beauty editor... talks allll about this stuff :)

    3. to answer your question have you ever tried a microderm abrasion or a professional facial once a month? i know you said you're allergic to a lot of face wash stuff, but if you can try, i heard microderm abrasions are great for the skin because it gets rid of all that dead skin that can end up clogging your pores and causing acne.

  8. Theres alot of things you can use at home.

You can dab garlic juice on new mature pimples.

    Try using Benzoyl peroxide.

A better way to cleanse is mix powdered milk with water it will cleanse and exfoliate. good luck. Hope it helped. I have alot of other stuff but too long.

  9. It sounds like you're allergic to some of the ingredients in your face washes. The face products on the market have a lot of junk in them, so I use natural products which are a lot healthier for your skin and less likely to cause reactions. Check out www.natural-skincare-solutions.com. I'm going to be putting up some recommended products for acne pretty soon. Good luck! :-) Sara

  10. use your hand soap to wash your face with warm water

and rinse with COLD COLD COLD water to close the poress, as cold as you can take it. believe it or not, after washing, put toothpaste on your pimples. give it time to heal.
