  1. You could try deodorising with Bicarbonate of Soda. Sprinkle on carpet and leave overnight, then vacuum off.

  2. Wal-Mart sells in their detergent aisle - pet smell deordorizer made by ARM&HAMMER - It smells wonderfull.  Give it a try!  Good Luck.

  3. I would use this it really does work.

SIMPLE SOLUTION Stain and Odour Remover.

You don't need a miracle to remove stubborn pet stains and odours, just a Simple Solution.

More than just an ordinary deodoriser, Simple Solution completely eliminates all organic stains and odours.

We're talking urine, vomit, faeces, blood, dirt, grass, red wine,Juice, coffee, tea, baby formula and more. Matter of fact, Simple Solution works the first time, every time! Guaranteed!

I use it to clean up after my Yorkie and it does work, its available at Pets at Home,  most good Pet Shops or Online.

  4. shake 'n' vac puts the freshness bak. M.

  5. I think professional cleaning is best, pricey but it will make your carpet smell better .

  6. Soak the area in water to loosen any material (filth) left in it. Try not to allow excess water to ooze into other areas of the carpet, as this may spread the stain, and it will be hard to vaccuum all the water out of the carpet.

Brush a small amount of laundry detergent into the wet carpet with a stiff bristled cleaning brush.

Vaccuum out the soapy water with a shop vaccuum or "wet/dry" vaccuum.

Wet once more with water to rinse excess soap, brushing it in. This step may have to be repeated several times to remove the soap from the carpet fiber.

Vaccuum again to remove excess water, and allow area to dry.

Treat the area by applying a layer of baking soda and brushing it in when the carpet dries. Leave it in for 24 hours, then vaccuum out.

  7. Try sprinkling bicarbonate of soda  on the area, leave overnight and then vacuum. It neutralises odours and will absorb any moisture. It might take a few applications :)

  8. sprinkle bi carb of soda over the top and then on the underlay, then hoover

  9. shake  bicarb of soda over it to absorb the smell ................then vacuum  also have the windows open to circulate fresh air

  10. use bakin soda

  11. use a vax..or shampooer,it need sucking out cos its in the underlay

  12. go to pets at home and get some simple solution. its great for all sorts of smells including vomit and poo, so it will get the smell of milk out of a carpet. you could also try some bicarb of soda, pop some in some hot water and wash the carpet with that.

  13. Try Shake & Vac - it doesn't look like you've tried that yet. Hope that helps.
