How to get rid of spiders?

What is the best method to use to get rid of spiders we have seeing quite a few in our house lately, I am hoping they are just garden spiders, but still I do not want them indoors. Any suggestions on what products will work best??

The best answer is a vacuum cleaner with a long hose.

Make sure you get the egg sacs. This is the time of year when spiders are spinning sacs for eggs, so if you don't want them next spring, get them now.

However, you should leave one alive and well--there is an old saying, "if you want to live and thrive, let a spider run alive."

They eat bad bugs, remember. :D

Poisons are a bad idea if you have children and pets.

Go to home depot and ask for a spider fumigator. It is a spray that you leave in a room for a few hours. They really work! Oh and I would recommend looking up what spider that is. Hopefully not a brown recluse because those are very poisonous.

My first suggestion is to clean your house thuroughly make sure you get ever corner, under the furniture and every dark spot imaginable. Also the garage maybe a key place to start the extermination. After that use which ever product you feel is best for your situation around the perimeter of the house and within the house where you find them most often :) Goodluck

spread bug poisons around outside of the bottom of the house, that you can get at home depot                                                        inside

get a broom & get the webs

just catch them in a glass and take them back into the garden when you see them. theres no point in killing them because there will always be spiders that will come into your house
