Question:

How to get rid of stains on car upholstery?

I have a car with a two toned upholstery on the seats. The outer color is tan and the inner is charcoal. I have noticed that even if water gets on these seats, it will leave a stain. I remember someone accidentally spilled a little bit of water on the passenger seat, and I thought that it would dry up. It left a stain. Also, the ceiling of the car has dirty fingerprints from when someone used my car one day.

With that being said, is there a way I can remove these stains as well as protect my upholstery from this happening again? I would hate to use a store bought cleaning product to create an even bigger stain.

Thank you for your help.
