assuming you mean the  type you find living in your kitchen cabinets, the roach bait that comes in a large syringe is the easiest for the homeowner. You are able to place it where the roaches are hiding...avoid spraying "raid" type products that will contaminate the baits...you want the roaches to feed on the baits. Baby roaches feed on the fecal matter of the adults, so they are actually carrying the toxin back to the hiding places for the babies to feed on. Good sanitation and address any water leaks around the kitchen. It will take a couple of weeks but the bait is the most effective with less mess.
