How to get rid of turps smell...?

spilt it in car and now car stinks!!

because its oil based theres nothing to remove it but it will in time evaporate .

rub some fairy liquid to the area where you spilled the turps. as the turps is and the fairy liquid are both oil based they will mix. leave for 10 - 20 minutes then clean away with water. this should get rid of the turps and the smell.

Best solution would be to put car in the sun and open doors. Place a fan near the spill and it will evaporate. The heat from the sun will speed things up. You'll still have some residual odor. Try spraying something like Fabreeze on it .

if you can borrow a wet vac of fined a good valeting firm and wet vac the carpet like you would in a house, it will get rid of what is in the carpet and the smell.
