How to get rid of yahoo search assist?

I like the scroll down of past searches,,,its this new search assist that some moron came up with that I cant stand,,,,I want it gone!!!!!!I have to turn on and then off again the search assist before I can use the scroll down!!!!

It's easy to turn it off. Go to:

http://www.yahoo.com

Above the search box at the top of the page, click the "More" link and select "Disable Search Assist."

I guess u cant get rid of search assist..lol

Try entering tools above and enter manage add ons. Delete it if its there.
