I downloaded c**p cleaner but when I cleaned my computer it still didn't go away. Unless I need to check a specific box in c**p cleaner. Pls help it is so annoying.

  1. Right-click on your web browser.  Under one of the tabs, there should be a button marked "Clear History" or something similar.  I would also advise you to click on "Delete Temporary Files," which hold a lot of information about the webistes you have visited.

  2. It depends on which browser you're using. This is for Internet Explorer 6 and 7. If you're using some other browser, add details to your question.

To clear the search box history on Yahoo! and Google pages > on Internet Explorer 7 toolbar, click Tools > Internet Options > on the General tab under Browsing History, click Delete > in the dialogue window that opens click Delete Forms > click Apply and OK.

On Internet Explorer 7, to stop the generation of the search box history on Yahoo! and Google pages, click Tools > Internet Options > Content tab > under AutoComplete, click Settings and uncheck the Forms box > click OK.

    Internet Explorer 6

To clear the search box history on Yahoo! and Google pages > on Internet Explorer toolbar click Tools > Internet Options > Content tab > under Personal information, click the AutoComplete box, on the AutoComplete Settings window click the Clear Forms box to delete your current history, or you can uncheck the Forms box to permanently stop the generation of the search history, click OK.

  3. Locate for the delete cookies and clear  history buttons and click them. Also locate the auto complete button and turn it off. In ie 7 these are under tools option.

  4. AutoComplete is currently turned ON

I don't know, what browser you have...
