How to get rid off the yellow pages delivery?

Every year our corridor is filled with the new addition of the bulky yellow pages.

People don’t take it inside and it left the corridor as a nuisance.

Either tear out the pages and use it to line the compost bucket, this makes emptying and cleaning the bucket a lot easier. And the yellow tome lasts about a year. You don't have a compost bucket !!! Mine has a lid.  Ooor they make very good door stops.

There are numbers here but I doubt they will do much good.

The UK phone book cancellation number is 0800 833400 then option 5 then option 1.

The UK yellow pages number is 0800 771444

Unfortunately as they are hand delivered and not posted there is no mailing list to opt out of as far as I  know.

Deliverers are just given a bundle and told to drop them at every house in their designated area.

Perhaps we should all send them back to yellow pages, BT or whatever. They may get the hint!!!

I used to deliver the Yellow Pages years ago, and was issued with a list of premises to deliver to. These included both business and residential.

To the best of my knowledge, you can opt out from receiving the Yellow Pages.

It is my opinion that there are far too many items delivered to people, free of charge, that they do not need, and many items, such as Yellow Pages, are duplicated by other publications, such as the B.T. phone book, and others that are delivered to local areas.

try your local primary school, ours are recycling them for school funds, they will be glad to have them i should think
