How to get scratches off my DVD-R disc for my camorder?

i need some help with the scraches on my Disc for my camcorder.I have a SONY handycam & MAXELL DVD-RDS& i have SONY DVD-R& I need some help to get them off cause i need to make copies for my Friend& just please leave an y info.And advice on how to fix the sittuation?? PLZ anything? ANYTHING @ ALL ?? PLZ LEAVE??

Hi bluecamo,

Go to a hardware store and buy a can of Brasso brass polish.

Squirt a generous amount on your CD and rub in very firmly across the CD - not in a circle.

Wash with dish soap & warm - not hot - water. Wash thoroughly and pat dry - don't rub - with a paper towel.

That fixes most of them.
