How to get scratches off of a cd???? tooth paste doesnt work?

A very effective way, I find, of cleaning a scratched cd/dvd/game is to put it in the freezer for a few hours. That way the cd steams up and deep cleans in all the scratches. Wipe the steam off and try it then. Works alot of the time for me.

i once worked at the county board here in my city and there was a lady in my department that used to post remedies, the one to cure scratches on cd's read that you should take lemon juice and put it on a cotton ball to rub the cd and it will dull out the scratches.

go to a used / buy / sell cd store, they have buffing machines, you can try that, they also sell this pinkish/purplish paste that you spread on cd and hand buff yourself. that can work.

It all, of course, really depends on how DEEP the scratches are. If they are too deep, chances are nothing will make the cd work.

But on the plus side, you can download the cd for free off the net!

Ok try lotion white kind only they also say peanut butter works put lotion on the CD and then wipe it off that should help
