How to get sharpie off of a binder.

so i have a few binders from High school that i am planning to use now. the problem is that they have my name scrawled down the side. any tips to get it off? right now i'm just scrubbing it witha wet cloth and dish washing soap, it works but takes a long time. any suggestions?

use nail polish removerr it comess off so easilyy :]

it can take it out off anywhere not just bindresss.

Yea I agree... the magic eraser sponge (wal-mart around $3) works miracles on marker!

Goof Off or Goo Gone should take it right off

The Mr. Clean Magic Eraser.  I used this to clean Marker and Ink off of my walls

You can try the Mr.Clean Magic Eraser, as some have mentioned. Or, you can try some rubbing alcohol. Alcohol dissolves ink, so it's worth a shot. Another option is to write over the sharpie with a dry-erase marker (Expo) then wipe that off. It will remove both the permanant and dry-erase marker.
