im in sixth grade and like this girl named jamie and she long brown hair and brown eyes and shes really popular and im afraid to talk to her so how to i get her to like me

When I was in sixth grade, I always tried to get paired up with the guy I liked for partner assignments and such, so we could talk, try that, if you have any classes with her, try sitting next to her so it will be easy for you two to talk. :)

I've been in the same situation as you have been. Except I'm a girl, and i liked a guy lol. I guess all you can do is just try and be friends with her. Try talking to her and get to know her. But also be yourself. I understand that you maybe nervous because she's popular and all, but some popular people are actually pretty nice, respectful, and amazing to be around! But you can't really "make" someone like you though. You just gotta show her the "real you" (by being yourself), and once she knows the real you, based on that, she will decide whether she likes someone like you or not. If she likes you, then who-hoo! if she doesn't, then it's okay. It may be hard, but you'll probably find another girl, and she'll be wishing she hadn't turned ya down! So give it a try, and take risks with her! Good luck! :)

Just be yourself? Nah that won't work in 6th grade. It's a bunch of elementary students that wish they were high schoolers. Just stay away from "girlfriends" until your 13 or 14ish. Before that it's just a contest to so who's more "gangster".
