i have hair that is naturally striaght with a few waves in it. but it doesn't "glow" like some peoples does. it's not neccesarily fried, but it doesn't look silky smooth either. do you know how to get that silky smooth and soft hair?

plz recommend things like shampoos, conditioners, or vitamens that you have used, or that you know work.

stopping striaghtening my hair is not an option, but anything else is pretty much open

thxs:)

  1. This is what I do and I SWEAR it works. First of all, invest in a good conditioner (like Kerastase) because a lot of commercial conditioners are actually bad for your hair.

When you  put conditioner in your hair, make sure it is wet and comb the conditioner through your hair.  Then put a bag or a shower cap on your head and leave it there for anywhere fro 45 minutes to 2 hours.  The humidity causes the conditioner to seep in and soften your hair more. Then rinse with warm water and style or whatever.  I've been doing this for years and I have really soft hair. Try it ^_^

  2. i think that we have similar hair. My hair is super thing, and dries straight, but with no waves.  what i do with my hair is i use the sheer blonde shampoo in the john frieda collection. try using what ever color hair that you have in the john frieda collection, and it brings out your natural highlights and makes your hair shine in the light (shampoo and conditioner) i also use a spray leave in conditioner. also people say it is bad for your hair to condition every day, but i do, and my hair looks great. i have 3 brushes (idk why... but it helps) when i'm drying my hair after a shower i use a basic brush with round tips, when my hair is dry i use a round brush to add a little volume and then i use an anti static brush when i'm styling my hair (such as pony tails).

    hope i helped

  3. after a shower, try putting olive oil on your hair (avoid the roots though) and wrapping it in a warm towel (put it in the dryer) for about half an hour. then rinse with cold water.

  4. hahahaha!!! I had the same problem.

Frizz Ease by John Frieda works really well, you can get it at any drugstore pretty much. It only lasts for a day though, unless you don't wash it out.

When I'm in a hurry, I sometimes put my favorite lotion on my hair, that works too.

I think some Pantene products are designed for your problem, I've never tried them before because I am a natural product freak, so pretty much any hair product that has requires any contact with skin I am afraid of.

  5. Try using "It's a 10" it's always worked on my hair and on my clients.  But you can also get a spray sheen to lighly apply after you style.  It makes it really shine. :)

  6. get aussie 3 minute miralce deeeeep moisture

it made my hair sooooo doft!

  7. DONT use a brush. i only use a comb, like a wide toothed one and it really helps cut down on frizz.

use deep coditioners once or twice a week. i like the garnier frutis fortifying deep conditioner.

some shampoo and conditioner that woorks really well is infisium 23 frizzology. it makes my hair really shiny and soft.

i let my hair air dry and then i put biolage smoothing serum on it before i flat iron it. then after i use gariner frucites sleek and shine serum.

this all works really well and it isnt too expensive!

when i do all this, my hair is shiny, silky, smells great, and seems to have a shimmer to it if that makes sense.

also keep up with trimming it! that will help it to look much healthier and to "glow" more.

  8. use a blend of avocado and molasses i know it sounds bad but it works hecka good thats what i use in my hair

  9. just last night i did something with my hair that made it like SUPER DUPER SOFT!!!

ok if u can go to sally beauty supplies and try to find the olive oil hair treatment conditioning lotion. or something like it. now, it says to just put a little bit in your hair and leave it but what iiiii did was put all the lotion in my hair from the little pack and then saturated it as much as i could with actual olive oil. wrap it up in a towel and let it soak in for about 15-30 minutes. go wash your hair really well and rinse it. i use pantene shampoo/conditioner. comb it dry.
