How to get some sleep?

ok i cant sleep at night i just say up i dont get tired but i need to sleep

i know its not healthy to not sleep i mean i get abao 4 hours of sleep

but thats all maybe 5 i try to sleep but i cant and its driven my sister up the wall eney ideas eney 1

  1. cut any caffeine intake or eliminate it altogether. get sun light, it controls your internal clock, clear you mind, stress and anxiety effect sleep, sleep with your head facing north so your in the magnetic alignment.  


  2. take some sleeping pills, like 45 of them. :D

    that should help you "sleep" ...or die. anyways,

    you could also try staying up as long as you can, and then getting up at 5:30 in the morning. If you get up early, you should go to sleep early as well.

    quit drinking any caffeine.

    maybe read a book.

    counting sheep definitely  does NOT help. so don't do that.

    Or if you could do like physical activity, like soccer during the day, to burn yourself out.

    you should sleep better.

    but the 45 sleeping pills would prolly work best. MUAHAHAHA!

  3. Yeah, you should definitely get a book. It doesn't have to be a boring book, just any book. After a few minutes you'll be dead tired!

  4. I have always had really horrible sleep patterns and I never really knew why. If it's at all interesting to you look up some ways to practice imagery before sleep. It's a great meditation and really helps me to fall asleep

  5. meditate.. change of diet.. lesser fats and processed foods.

    take melatonin and or evening primrose oil.

    try those things first.

    the diet change would help...  too much fat and or an allergy to something can really shift the ability to sleep.

    and meditation as in increased diaphram breathing can sure help increase oxygen, relax muscles, arteries and help the respiratory system,  which is essential for sleep.

    also,  don't go to bed with a head full of thoughts and never try to sleep when stressed..   you can always worry about it the next day...   try to leave the usual problems out of the bedroom.. there's more than enough time to conquor them later.

  6. Try reading a book or some warm milk soothing music give yourself plenty of time to unwind from your day  

  7. Have you tried reading a book? A novel I mean. It makes me sleepy after about 10 minutes.

  8. u can take sleeping pills read or talk walks in the evenings. Do something relaxing before u go to bed.

    Your body mind and soul need to rest before you sleep.

    If there is something heavy on your mind, chances are you wont get much sleep.

    Have a warm milk or cold water.

    Whatever you do do not have coffee or anything high in sugars or salts.

    Turn the lights down and have a lamp on. Let your body know its time to sleep.

    Also waking up and going to sleep at the same time everynight encourages it.

    infact its 5 30 am right now!!

    Is there any reason for you not sleeping?

    i mean mine is because of having to much on my mind, which im currently trying to resolve.

    But yours could be because of your diet?

    Not enough activity in the day?

    Or maybe its the same as mine in which case i cant help unless i figure it out myself also!!
