How to get songs from ipod to computer without erasing everything off the ipod?

my computer recently had hard drive issues so I was forced to get a new computer. I need to know how to safely ( meaning it wont erase my songs) get the stuff off my ipod to my new computer, any help here?

  1. plug ur ipod into your computer. then go to my computer, and search for your ipod there. click on it and it should have all of your songs and folders. just highlight all of them and send them to a folder where you want them to be. its that easy


  2. There is a program called Music Rescue.  Google it and it's by somebody, and it will take all your songs and copy them from your iPod onto your iTunes.  Make sure you have already downloaded iTunes first.  It should work, my sister did it.

  3. itune blocks this function since itune is the tool with one way to transfer files from itune to ipod. you must utilize other tools to achieve that. There're couple of tools for transferring the files between ipod and computer (for backup)depends on your demands, e.g transfer only songs/videos, transfer photos etc. You can have a look of below review site, hope it useful.
