  1. There is a site online that has a program that allows you to pull the songs off your IPOD alternatively you can enable your computer to show hidden files. Unfortunaltly your songs are framented into 40 or so files with random songs, however if it doesnt bother you as long as you have the music there on the computer you can drag the folders to your music folder and get your media player to find them, presto!! all organized in the player! just not in the folder im affraid.

AH!! here is the website to pull off music from you IPOD for free.  here ya are:

  2. If you have an apple this is a really good website that lets you take music from your ipod and transfer it onto your computer. It's called Senuti (itunes backwards -- clever!)

Here's a review on it if you want to see what other people say.

  3. use tune ranger.  it will transfer everything from your ipod to itunes

  4. itune blocks this function since itune is the tool with one way to transfer files from itune to ipod. you must utilize other tools to achieve that. There're couple of tools for transferring the files between ipod and computer (for backup)depends on your demands, e.g transfer only songs/videos, transfer photos etc. You can have a look of below review site, hope it useful.

  5. you will need to have a 3rd party tool to help you copy songs in your ipod to computer as itunes blocks the ipod-to-computer transfer, here is a review of top 5 ipod  copying softwares(windows/mac): http://www.ipodtocomputer.net
