  1. Easyest way to do that is:

    1. Plug the red and white RCA plugs into the back on the tv into the TV OUT AUDIO L (white) & R (red) Plugs

    2. Plug the 3.5mm stereo plug (Headphone jack) into the computers LINE IN, (blue port of colour coded)

3.Assuming you using windows on the PC And Xp, double click on the little speaker icon in your taskbar near the clock, and "Volume Control" box should come up, first click options then Properties, and check the box that says "LINE IN", then ok.

(If no speaker icon there go to start > control panel > sound and audio devices > and check the box that says "place volume icon in taskbar.)

4.It should take you back to the "Volume Control" box, there should be a subsection there labeled "LINE IN" make sure the mute is unchecked, and adjust the volume slider, (have the tv on with something on so u can hear the sound.)

    5. You should be able to hear the tv audio through the computer now, (and without any 3rd party programs installed)

to turn the sound off, just mute the "LINE IN" subsection in volume control.

Hopefully your computer isnt too much diffrent to them steps, i tryed to make them simple enough, Enjoy!
