  1. Pony up the $5000 for ppl or $20,000 for a CFI like the rest of us did.  If you can't afford to pay for your own training, you can't afford to pay for flying on a regular basis, either.  And the only way to get to a point where you can "try" to make some money in an aviation career is to become a CFI.  Then you can start logging some serious hours to maybe get enough to interview with a regional carrier.  Either way, it's going to be a big chunk of your own cash.

  2. Hi nns,

    we're having a same matter..

I'm also looking for a student pilot scholarship..

You can try find an airline that open a scholarship program, for those who wants to be a pilot for his/her career..

Usually, you will need to sign a contract that you will work for the airline that has sponsored you for a certain time..

Let me know when you get the sponsor.. ^_^

  3. I'm not sure what you are asking..

What do you mean by a 'sponsor'?

Are you looking for a mentor, or for a person to sponsor a visa, etc., to come to the U.S. and do training?

Give me a little better idea of the question, and I'll see about answering it.

  4. basically,you want free money.Don't we all.

  5. Ain't happenin guys.

  6. Not in the US. You can get student loans for a professional pilot program in the US.

  7. If you are working on becoming a pilot in the US there is a company called Pilot Finance that offers aid, very similar to financial aid given to college kids. Here is the website:

    http://www.pilotfinance.com

    Hope this helps!
