  1. Your Answer:

1.Stat go-karting at your track try and win the local derby get enough exp and progress to bigger race,

    2. win those races and your bound to get picked up by a good racing team in a lower class GT or formula 3 if your really good.

Licence will be arranged by your team but you might have to cover atleast one full race simulation on track testing.

3.Win formula 3 progress to gp2 win gp2 and get an assured seat in formula 1.Super liscence arranged by team and FIA committee viewing your past experience and also the required laps in a current f1 car(200laps and your good)

Do the above and Guaranteed not only all Possible FIA license but also superstardom and yes lotsa money......

    best of luck

  2. Sportsman Class drag racing is the least expensive form of auto racing to get into.  Most any street legal car can be brought to the track for open track racing.  Safety equipment is minimal.  A current rated helmet and a basic safety inspection of your car is performed before they will let you on the track.  You need 2 return springs on your throttle and your battery must be secure.  Hub caps must be removed from your tires and no fluid leaks are allowed.  It should cost you less than $50 for a day at the track after you purchase or borrow a helmet.

Check out the schedule for your local track and get a copy of the track rules.

  3. Well depending on your age you should start karting, just to get the feel of what it is like to race a reasonably fast vehicle with other people.

Then its a case of looking at clubs and circuits seeing what races and championships they offer and trying to buy the right vehicle necessary for it, or trying to get involved with a racing team :)

  4. find a good manager and many sponsors

  5. fepowered has it right

If I had to add something, know your machine inside and out. If you are starting at the bottom with little money you need to be a good mechanic/engine builder/chassis guy etc...
