  1. Bass Pro shops are cool, the one near where I live also has an indoor range.

  2. HEYYY I live in Kansas City.

Go to the new Bass Pro Shop that opened and get a bow and a hay target. Teach yourself in your backyard.

  3. All will depend on your goals.  You can teach yourself to shoot a paper plate from 20 yards.  Actually with patience and lots of practice I have a friend that had taught himself to shoot a paper plate from 30 yards consistently.  But if you have higher goals, like going to the Olympics, where you have to hit that paper plate consistently from 100 yards, then your best bet is to take lessons from the beginning.  I can't find any NAA affiliated range in your area, but head out to www.usarchery.org and find a coach in your state, call him up and see if he knows of a range in the area.
