How to get text from a text book to my computer?

I'm looking for a nifty gadget that I can use to get the type in my book onto my computer with out typing it. Does anyone know of a pen or something like it that I can run over the text and put it directly into Word? Thanks

the fly pen is supposed to be gooked upt to ur comp and then you run  it over ur text and it appers there. also there is a program called naturally speaking wich lets your comp automaticly type words that you say into a headst mic. http://www.flypentop.com/view/pag

No, but if you have a scanner you can always scan the pages and save them on computer.
