i think you have to get to level 7/8 because thats the level most top contributors are on, and most of your answers need to be in a specific section. Have you ever noticed how whenever you go to a section, there's a top contributor at the top?

By answering, questioning and getting a lot of best answers in a certain category i guess.

I got the badge at Level 3 - if you have many of your best answers within a single category. For example, Travel > Malaysia.

Secondly you should have at least 10% best answers, if it falls below that % then you get it taken away.
