How to get that car noise?

How do I get that noise that all the supped up ricer Hondas and such make? What kind of exhaust and such? Thanks alot.

Well you need a header system first of all.

a cold air intake also

then add a cat back exhaust system with a tuneable tip, this way you can make it loud or make it sound great.

Stabbing a hole in the muffler will cause damage, and unwanted fumes to enter the cabin, make sure you get a exhaust system designed for ON road.

Ricers don't use glass packs, that's more of a muscle car sound.  The best way is to get a PA system mounted under your car, and just loop a sound track of a child crying.  It doesn't sound EXACTLY the same, but people get the same impression, and it usually yeilds about the same performance results :)

put a big exhaust tip on. Stabbing holes in it would work too. By the way this gives little performance and just makes it really loud and annoying.

stab your muffler with a s***w driver a couple times..

go to a muffler shop buy a small glasspack or two put on a tip it cost me like 50 dollars for onefor you mabey $75
