  1. The Installation CD came in an envelope and on the back of this the Product Key Number was there!

If you don't have that envelope anymore you will have to buy a new Product Key from the Website.

You could also ring up the company who make the Software and ask for a New Code as it doesn't have it.

They will probably want the CD and a copy of the receipts and a cover letter they will send you in the post.

They will give you a full refund so you can get something else in the shops.

  2. Windows Vista and Microsoft Office are two separate products... Your Windows Vista probably has a OEM license key so need to worry about it (Except for the activation part)... Your office is a trial that comes preinstalled with many computers so you need to buy it separately to get a product key.  There will be a 91% off soon for students who want to buy the full version of office.. check out http://lifehacker.com/5040448/microsoft-...

  3. You may find a system recovery partion from "My computer". If so then you can try to re-set the unit to back to factory default.

If it was a trial version of Microsoft Office then you have to purchase full installation dvd from a retailer. Trial version is good for 60 days only.

  4. Your Office is a free trial with your new laptop.  You have to pay Microsoft to get a product key.
